A woman’s life has sadly been lost due to a tragic car collision in New York. In addition, a man has suffered injuries in the single-car wreck. The deadly crash took place on a recent Saturday evening, leaving the involved parties’ family members and community to question how such a collision could have happened.
How the crash occurred
The recent motor vehicle accident took place at a little before 5 p.m. along New York State Route 22. According to authorities, a 20-year-old man was driving south along the highway. The man then reportedly lost control of his car when another automobile entered the roadway.
Police said the man’s car left the road and struck an embankment and guardrail before flipping. Both the man and his 18-year-old female passenger suffered injuries and were therefore transported to a medical center. However, the woman ended up passing away at the hospital.
