Four people have sadly suffered injuries in a car collision in Batavia. The accident occurred along Route 63 and Route 5. Sometimes these types of crashes occur due to driver negligence, in which case the driver who reportedly caused the accident may be held liable for any injuries resulting from it.
How the crash happened
The unfortunate wreck took place on a recent Wednesday afternoon. According to authorities, two cars suddenly collided with each other at the routes’ intersections. No one passed away in the crash, but the impact of the crash did lead to four injuries.

Three other individuals were also injured in the crash and were therefore taken to the same hospital by ambulance. Authorities continued to investigate the cause of the two-automobile accident.
How an attorney can help car accident victims
New York State Police might determine through their investigation that one of the injured parties caused the accident due to negligent driving, such as driving while distracted or speeding. In this situation, the three other injured individuals may opt to file personal injury claims against the driver, seeking the reimbursement of damages sustained in the unfortunate collision. Liability has to be established, based upon a showing of negligence, before a judge will adjudicate the plaintiff’s damage claims. If the judge rules in their favor, they may receive damages to cover their hospital bills as well as any loss of wages they experience as a result of the injury accident.
