Two individuals have suffered injuries in a tragic motor vehicle collision in Claverack. The wreck occurred along County Route 20 and State Route 66. How the accident happened
The unfortunate incident took place at about 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday. According to authorities, a woman was driving a car north along the state route and tried to turn left onto the county route. All of a sudden, a 34-year-old woman driving another automobile reportedly rear-ended her car.
A 43-year-old male passenger who was riding in the first car suffered injuries that were deemed life-threatening and was therefore taken to a medical center for treatment. The second car’s driver was also injured in the crash, but her injuries were not considered to be life-threatening. Police issued her two tickets for driving too quickly and following the first car too closely.
